Ze Roberto Wants To Stay At Bayern Munich For Another Year
There is more good news at Bayern Munich with therevelation that Brazilian Ze Roberto is keen on staying on at the clubfor another year.
The 34-year-old had previously been linked with a move at the end ofthe season, with Major League Soccer being strongly touted as apossible destination.
However, in an interview with Kicker, he appears to be open to an extension to his latest spell in Munich.
“Yes I’d like to stay,” he told the respected German football publication.
He has arguably been one of the club’s best performers this seasonand according to his own admission he is enjoying one of the mostfruitful spells of form in his career.
Kicker have reported that Ze Roberto’s advisors are due in Munich this month in order to negotiate a new contract.
“My family feel well here and we still have ambitious targets at the club,” he explained.
So far this season he has played in 17 games, scored three goals and provided six assists.
It was his equaliser yesterday against Borussia Dortmund, that gotBayern back into the contest following Nelson Valdez’ early opener.
