Roma have taken Udinese right-back Marco Motta on loan for theremainder of the season with the intention of buying him outright atthe end of the campaign.

After signing Souleymane Diamoutenefrom Lecce yesterday, the Giallorossi have added further defensivereinforcement to their squad in the form of the Italy U-21international.

At the end of the six month loan spell, Roma willpay Udinese approximately €7 million in three installments for the22-year-old.

After the long-term injury of Marco Cassetti, coachLuciano Spalletti was hopeful of reinforcements and he has gotten them.Both Diamoutene and Motta have been included in the Champions Leaguesquad for the rest of the season.

Meanwhile, striker StefanoOkaka will likely be on his way to Triestina before the end of thetransfer window. Also, defender Christian Panucci looks set to staywith the club until his contract expires this summer.
